Hmm, good question. I guess mostly because otters are like wonderful little water cats. In general, they have more personality than most humans. Also, otters look good in a suit and tie.
Is this completely sophomoric? Yes. Does it skew towards the lowest common denominator? Indeed. Is my mother proud of me? Most certainly not. However, the magic of ground weasels, water cats, puns, and MS Paint will not be stifled. I'll try to not sink any further with these antics. Maybe.
